This approach works to transform the personal energy field by identifying and working through imbalances in the chakra system. These imbalances can be at the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual level of our greater energy body.
-
Internalized negative beliefs are generally the culprits and once these are processed and reframed during hypnotic trance, the individual feels a sense of release from past wounds and a reconnection with one’s greater sense of self.

Integrated Psychotherapy Modalities
Clinical Hypnosis
Clinical hypnosis utilizes one’s natural ability to enter a trance-like state where one can access greater calm as well as information and wisdom available in our unconscious minds. In trance, person is always in full control of what is accessed and revealed; it is as if one is sitting on the sidelines observing while at the same time participating in pivotal experiences that can undo long-held negative beliefs towards oneself.
Ego states are parts of the personality that give a person the ability to adapt, think, act, and respond differently in different situations. Conflicts can occur internally among different ego states and an individual may not even be conscious of why the conflict is there. Exploring and working with the different parts of our selves can produce efficient results and relief. Ego State Therapy is continually building on and reinforcing an individual’s strengths and capabilities.
Ego State Therapy
This new energy approach works to positively transform the personal energy field by identifying and working through imbalances in the chakra system in a systematic way. These imbalances can be active at the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual level of one’s greater energy body. They may be experienced as problematic beliefs, recurrent patterns of negative interactions with others, or as specific somatic symptoms in the body.
Signature Energy Work
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured skill-based therapy that focuses on learning and practicing skills that help people better manage emotions and behaviors that are highly problematic and painful. A DBT-informed approach utilizes concepts and skills as needed with a particular problem or situation. Areas of skills comprising DBT are mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
DBT Informed Emotion
Regulation Approach
Placing the individual within the context of their family of origin is an important piece of the puzzle to understanding specific roles and behaviors that get acted out unconsciously as well as particular obstacles to increasing individual agency and self-fulfillment. Considering the workings of intergenerational transmission of trauma is another key to helping people work through hidden drivers of anxiety, depression, or alcohol and substance abuse.
Family Systems Perspective
Add a Title
Developmental psychology provides a backdrop for the different stages that people go through as they move from infancy into adulthood in terms of physical, mental, and emotional development. It is important when working with younger parts of self for the therapist to be able to capture and communicate the mental and emotional capabilities of a given age so that expectations towards oneself are realistic and negative judgments applied retrospectively are reduced. During the initial session the therapist makes a genogram, or family diagram that provides a visual picture of the family players and dynamics present across several generations.
